Chad Dawson vs Glen Johnson: Prediction

Chad Dawson vs Glen Johnson is happening on November 7th. This is a rematch from last year where Chad Dawson got a disputed unanimous decision win over Johnson. Many observers thought he won the match I had Dawson edging him out due to his effectiveness in the early rounds. Chad Dawson is the future of the light heavyweight division. Dawson who started out at super middleweight is undefeated in 25 fights and has held three different versions of the light heavyweight title. This matchup hes defending the IBO which is seen as the least regarded of all the organizations. He dropped the IBF title in order to take this bout. Glen Johnson is a former light heavyweight champion defeating Roy Jones in 2004 in an upset. He traded matches with Antonio Tarver, and has losses to Bernard Hopkins and Clinton Woods. He recently defeated Daniel Judah in a rematch after getting a draw with him in a 2003 matchup. Chad Dawson is a southpaw he has great speed, great footwork, and knows how to counter effectively. Glen Johnson is an orthodox fighter, he likes to fight on the inside, hes good at throwing the straight right hand, he moves effectively, his defense is really good, and he is very effective when he has the fight going his way. I'll be honest with Chad Dawson at the end of his fights I dont know if hes tired or if hes fading. He tends to get lazy in the final rounds of his fights. In the 8th or 9th round in the matchup with Tarver he kind of just went on retreat for a couple rounds and fought in spurts, and stole rounds. This is something Dawson cant do against Glen Johnson. He doesnt really like to use power shots he simply uses volume punches. This fight he has to get Johnson to back off he needs to hit Johnson with some hard shots to take this fight. Sometimes I see Chad Dawson do that same in and out movement in every fight and it gets repetitive he can only do it so much until it gets pointed out. Glen Johnson starts his fights out slowly, I think he has a lot of trouble with fighters that have quick hands, at times like Dawson he can get lazy, and he when hes completely out of the fight hes frustrated and gets off track. I see this fight going either way but if I had to choose somebody to win it I'm going with Chad Dawson in this fight. Dawson will utilize his hand speed, and foot movement to move around the ring and make Glen Johnson chase him. Though the first fight was close I see this one being a lopsided unanimous decision for Chad Dawson
